Your audience, as a battle royale
A live voting game for a whole audience. Anonymous, no talking, fifteen minutes, one winner. A quiet experiment in how crowds decide.
How it runs
- JoinA code on screen. Everyone joins on their phone, no app, no name.
- RoundsEach round, everyone votes. Part of the field is knocked out.
- The finalTwo players left, a whole audience watching.
- One winnerFifteen minutes from start to finish.
What to know
- It runs in a phone browser. Nobody installs anything.
- Players stay anonymous, so nobody plays for status.
- It can be themed around your product or a question you want answered.
Good for
Conference openers, all-hands meetings, big-audience moments.
Not for
Small groups under fifty.
Questions planners ask
What does the audience actually do?
They vote, nothing else. No typing, no talking. The tension comes from the rules.
Does it need fast wifi?
Mobile data or venue wifi is enough. It's a light web page, not a video game.
What do we learn from it?
How a crowd behaves when it decides together, anonymously. Some clients use the results as content afterwards.
Thinking of doing this?
Borrow the idea, it's yours. If you'd like a hand, or just a second opinion on whether it suits your group, write to me. I produce ideas like this one at Sorry, No Polar Bears, a Helsinki studio I co-run.
